Radish Underground

During the months of November & December, I will be the featured jeweler at Radish Underground. I am elated & honored to have this opportunity.

Radish Underground is a charming boutique in Portland's West End of Downtown. The store focuses on independent designers & artists whose styles are unique. Plus the 2 women who own the business are RAD!!

So, if you are local & have never been there, stop by Radish & take a peak at the awesome store.

Custom Ring

Today, is September 19th.

Not only is it my son's 7th birthday (happy b-day buddy), but it is a repeat customer's 19th wedding anniversary. I don't think that is a "golden" anniversary, but special non-the-less - 19 years on the 19th, wow!

This wonderful husband, we will call him "D", contacted me the other day with a vision of a ring for his wife. "D" requested a simple sterling silver band with some light texture & "prison" font equaling 19 slashes to go around the band.

What a great idea!

After some trial runs on copper, the sterling ring was created. "D" was really pleased when he saw the ring & told me about the card he made to go with it. So much love - I love it!!
Happy Anniversary, "D".

Bridesmaids Gifts...

A couple of months ago, I had the privilege of making my cousin's bridesmaids necklaces. It was an honor to make the colorful enamel stacked necklaces for her.

They are supposed to be a little off kilter (as shown in the picture) and the colors she chose matched perfectly with the beautiful dresses. Seemed to be perfect.

Last night, I sold 3 necklaces to a repeat customer for her bridesmaids. They were all enamel and all a bit different to fit with their personalities. What a great idea. It doesn't always have to match. Of course, I forgot to take pictures of the necklaces :(, but I was flattered and honored. I hope she sends me pictures....

Anywho,

New jewelry heading to Bend!

My family took a little vacation to Bend last week to visit our old stomping grounds & some wonderful friends. The husband took the kids to run some errands while I walked around downtown by my lonesome. Ahh.... that was nice.

I stopped into The Feather's Edge Finery and fell in love with this store instantly. The store is filled with a variety of unique hand-made items that catch the eye - whether it is art, home goods or jewelry.

Steph, the owner, and I started talking and one thing led to another. Now my enamel jewelry is on its way over.

I am flattered and honored for my jewelry to be a part of this unique store. Check it out if you are in Bend!

Below is a sneak peak of what was sent....

Welcome

{new punched out necklaces}

Thanks for stopping by. I plan on using this blog to update you all on new jewelry designs, promotions and, well, anything I feel like writing about, I guess.

I am currently working on some new fall designs for both silver and enamel...so stay tuned. Though with summer finally here, yea - I know it's August, but I live in Portland, OR, it is too hard to work indoors. So, there is no deadline on the debut of fall designs, but I promise it will be soon.
